Martin Vindis venceu ontem a 6ª etapa do Atlantic GT Sports Club, competição organizada pela parceria Atlantic Motorsport/eSimSports no simulador rFactor 2. O piloto da Atlantic Motorsport levou o McLaren 720S GT3 à vitória na corrida de 50 minutos, para a qual havia largado da 7ª posição.

O primeiro líder da prova foi Dylan Tarbaton que saiu da pole position aos comandos de um McLaren 720S GT3. No entanto, o piloto acabou por abandonar ainda no decurso da primeira volta, entregando a liderança a Lukas Lichten (Porsche 911 GT3-R). Seria ainda no primeiro terço da prova que Martin Vindis assumiu a liderança, apenas importunada por Marius Nicolae num Aston Martin Vantage. O alemão, também da Atlantic Motorsport, chegou a passar pela liderança da prova, mas acabou na ponta final por se deixar bater pelo forte ritmo de Martin Vindis que acabou mesmo por vencer. Nicolae foi segundo, sendo a derradeira posição do pódio assegurada pelo indonésio Mada Andhika, num Porsche 911 GT3-R.

Martin Vindis Wins Round 6 of the Atlantic GT Sports Club (rFactor 2)

Martin Vindis was the strongest on track yesterday at Bathurst, taking the Atlantic Motorsport McLaren 720S GT3 to victory.

Martin Vindis yesterday won the 6th round of the Atlantic GT Sports Club, a competition hosted by the Atlantic Motorsport/eSimSports partnership on rFactor 2. The Atlantic Motorsport sim racer took the McLaren 720S GT3 to victory in the 50-minute race, where he started from 7th on the grid.

The first leader of the race was Dylan Tarbaton who started from pole position behind the wheel of a McLaren 720S GT3. However, Tarbaton retired during the first lap, giving the lead to Lukas Lichten (Porsche 911 GT3-R). It was still in the first third of the race that Martin Vindis took the lead, only challenged by Marius Nicolae in an Aston Martin Vantage. The Atlantic Motorsport german sim racer also went on to lead the race but ended up on the sidelines, being beaten by the strong pace of Martin Vindis, who eventually won. Nicolae finished second, with the final podium position secured by indonesian driver, Mada Andhika, on a Porsche 911 GT3-R.
