Round two of the ISEC hosted by XtremeRPM.org at the circuit of Imola, Italy. with the P2 and GTE cars ready to go for the event.
TR Bluvos Motorsports tried to get back on track after the events in the last round where the P2 car did not finish while the GTE could not attend.
Unfortunatly this time the P2 car could not race because of driver personal issues. But the GTE #96 Corvette C7 was able to race and had a solid result.
With just 24 hours before the event, the driver line-up was announced as just Michael Teichmann (MEX) was able to participate in the race.
Qualifying was incredible with the #96 car in 8th place.
Before the race started Teichmann had an Issue with the internet conection but was able to solve it in order to race.
After 4 hours on being on track. Teichmann and the #96 Corvette managed to survive and finish in 5th place in a very long race for our driver.
“I knew this race would be complicated. We did not have the best car out there and not the right setup, but with 24h of preparation we managed to do a great result. I’m very proud of myself for race this long, I haven’t done this since almost 4 years ago back when I was in real life endurance racing. Now Its time to recover and be ready for the next race, Hopefully with a team mate”, said a very exhausted Teichmann (MEX)
Next race would be 8th of July at Spa. We hope to see you there
